Why Americans don't have protest about obesity epidemic?

We've heard all the social issues they've been protesting in the last few years but nothing against obesity to raise awareness and stigmatise those foods that poison your bodies the same way they stigmatise smokers and druggies today.

bcuz no one likes being fat, and sure they may have gotten fat because of no other option

but being fat is a very psychological emoitonal thing.

you eat because youre nervous, or upset about something or someone was was rude to you about how you looked

its like a cycle of binging for emotional relief sometimes

so it has to do with their egos, and why would you protest the validity of their ego's existence? being fat is normal and even beautiful, attractive to them because they are fat

Just my opinion, its because we haven't gotten to critical mass yet with obesity. For obesity to kill you, it takes decades for your bad eating habits to show up.

Now look at drugs. We will take fentanyl as example. Fentanyl has caused immense harm in our society and at a very quick pace as well. Homelessness, despair, death. Drinking and driving is another. People die. Families are ripped apart. All that it takes is one drunk behind the wheel.

I do think we as a society will come down on the food industry. It could take another 20-50 years. But young people (under 40) are being diagnosed with colon cancer, cancer in general type 2 diabetes, and heart disease at rates we had never seen before. Why? Because of our horrible life style. Our horrible choice of processed foods, large amounts of soda, etc. I see young people eating nothing but candy and drinking soda all day. They are all going to face an early death.
