Safest Country in the world?
Not in terms of it's capability to defend itself, but more so a country that doesn't have problems with other countries and probably never will.

I would say Iceland. I'm aware that I might run into a polar bear / lions / tigers etc, but I don't care about that.

Japan is really safe if you consider it’s population.

127,000,000 people it’s 4th place in terms of lowest crime rate.

Internally yes. But they do have beef with China and Russia, which could get hot. Also hot: Nuclear meltdowns. And then earthquakes, tsunamis and potentially Godzilla.

Speaking in terms of earthquakes and nuclear things, they have an impressive ability to bounce back. Like between the 9.7 earthquake, two nuclear attacks, the most recent earthquake and the fact they live around one of the largest volcanos on earth is merit for either being some of the most hardened people on the planet that came from the worst events possible so far.

New Zealand

Because it is far away from other countries and surrounded by waters. It is so small that no-one would really care to invade it and it borders no other country.

Have you ever read Tokyo Vice?

4/5 of murders aren't reported as murders.

9,7 earthquake never happened in human history in last 5000 years, maybe before with super volcano and meteor crash

but strongest earthquake we record is in pacific ocean near chile 9,6

New Zealand is a good place until rising ocean levels turns it into the City of Atlantis 2.0
I would say Greenland but they just had a volcano pop off recently

Average elevation of New Zealand is 388 meters above sea level. It's gonna take a while before it gets underwater.

i am not sure about that, new zealand is too close relation with usa, i dont see china and russia spare new zealand and let the place save to be us base

so if the country has us base it become target for russia and china

Uncle Escobar already went there for work. Told me if the police asks, i should say i don´t know where he is.

Topic:
Every country will have problems with other countries as long as there aren´t certain unified solutions. They wouldn´t declare war on Switzerland if they do their bank secret thingy, but it can be a problem for others, which is why it doesn´t exist like that any more since a few years.
Japan is pretty safe in my Opinion
the Very clean surroundings in big places like Tokyo is very Impressive
and it is pretty safe with a big population
i know there are certain issues but they can be fixed

Yeah, because they have the Southern Alps to push that average. Sadly people can't live and/or farm on mountains and almost all important population centers in Aotearoa are located on the coast. Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Dunedin, Napier, Invercargill, New Plymouth, Gisborne, Tauranga, Nelson and so on. Apart from Taupo, Rotorua, Palmy and Hamilton, all cities larger than a couple of thousand people are coastal.

Switzerland.

Aside from being surrounded by easily-defensible mountains, the population are some of the best marksmen/women in the world.
*Insert William Tell theme here*

I think Iceland is a little safer.

I think the question should be, what is a very populated area but still safe.

You can also move to Siberia and never see a single human and be more safe than anywhere else.

How do you fix living on the ring of fire? I mean, I, as a foreigner, adore Japan, but I am aware, that the risk of diying in a natural disaster is a lot higher in Japan than in Europe.
