The cure for depression
It appears some of you people might be depressed out there...

Firstly, there's a root cause for various depressions. It could be a chemical imbalance, stress, lack of sleep, loneliness or not meeting an achievement you want to, etc. You still need to address the root cause.

However, drinking "green tea" will reduce your depression greatly.

Ideally "Matcha Green Tea", which has been tested to work well on mice and for humans...

- 3 cups of green tea per week is known to reduce depression by 21% on average
- 4 cups of green tea per day skyrockets the effect to reducing depression by 51% on average

Other teas such as Ashwagandha tea, St John's wort tea, Lemon balm tea, etc, also can work.

It adapts your brain to deal with stress.

It contains something also known as L-Theanine which directly affects your mood stabilisation and sleep quality.

Green tea also reduces and regulate Cortisol, your body hormone which affects stress, anxiety and depression. Aka it helps fix your chemical imbalance.

Along with green tea, try adding a daily walk or a form of exercise. It's an anti-depressant, similar in strength to using the drug Zoloft in studies, yet without any side-effects. After a trial between the two - 52% still had depression with the drug Zoloft compared to 30% had depression after regular exercise. It does seriously have a big impact on it and works better, if in short bursts with resting.

You should also take Vitamin D or get outside more to get some natural sunlight.

Now write a depressing reason below why you dislike drinking green tea?

Had 6 cups of chamomile & Juniper tea today. I like matcha it does temporarily curb depression (as with other teas) only quarrels with green tea against other herbal teas is caffeine.

"STUDY: Caffeine Negatively Affects Decisions..."
now I don't know if that's true although i do find my reading comprehension goes down with caffeine usage.

I have regular exercise.

That's all it takes, right there.

I'm not harping on your stats here it's just that...

Depending on the definition of 'skyrockets' ...we could be confused here.

3 cups a week compared to 4 cups a day (21 cups a week)

3 cups a week : 21 cups a week
21% : 51 %

it doesn't seem like the correct context for the stats via word usage 'skyrockets'

What do you think?

Thanks azza for the suggestion. I needed this information. I will incorporate green tea into my routine.

Is there a certain brand that you find better than others?

I say this because at first glance someone who is novice tea drinker might see the benefit of only drinking 3 cups a week compared to the required 21 cups a week to benefit.

7 times increase in consumption yields 2.5 times benefit as 3 cups a week.
Consumption increase is a steeper curve than the benefit. We could say skyrocketing consumption yields a fairly reflected benefit (as to not exceed maximum amounts of tea i.e. recommended no more than 8-10 cups / day)

Better with a dobsonian telescope away from city lights. (i don't smoke weed anymore because of the brain damage) Dobsonian telescopes, or 'light buckets', are like the best budget deal you can get as an amateur astronomer. The aperture (width of the scope) is how you gather the most light, you can see excellent detail at range, for instance a 10" wide aperture dobsonian can see the storms on saturn and rings with clarity. The Messier 57 (Smoke Ring Nebula) is even visible with a 10" and slight detail of andromeda galaxy.
I was just going to guess honkers and sniffing powder, but good on you for putting in this effort.

However, I feel like many people will carry on with their Redbull and pizza roll diet.

I am a green tea consumer. So many people find it nasty or weird.

Valerian also helps.
The thing is, all these herbs and exercises work temporarily, because if there is a problem and you don't fix it, it will continue and there will be a time when they will not be able to help you a lot.

Valerian literally makes me vomit.

Is there a certain brand that you find better than others?

Not sure about brands? They would likely be different in other countries too?

I've rarely been depressed myself and I live a stress-free lifestyle. People questioned it, so I took it in reverse. Seeing what I'm taking and doing that they aren't.

I like exercising and take supplements for that. Also have a quality sleep pattern.

From those supplements, I'm regularly taking Ashwagandha KSM-66, Green Bean Coffee Extract, Green Teas, amino acids such as L-Carnitine and L-Theanine, etc.

I just noticed it's like a stress shield and therefore researched into what each does to find out it's helped quite a few with their depression.

I tend to take clean supplements, such as Whey Protein and Creatine monohydrate.

But the ones affecting my stress would be: ANS Performance Diablo and Diablo PM (the night time PM one being key for anti-stress)

They are considered fat burners, but really just metabolism boosters. I use it as a pre-workout and sleeping aid sometimes.

ANS Performance Diablo PM has:
- Vitamin D
- L-Carnitine
- L-Tartrate
- L-Theanine
- Ashwagandha KSM-66
- Passionflower extract

That's pretty much an anti-depressant.
