I'm literally shaking right now I can't control my nerves and it's hard to type with all my emotions firing off at the same time.
Today I was at the grocery store and I decided to wear my "Gamer and Proud" T-shirt, I came out as a gamer towards my parents around 20 years ago and they accepted it but society has not. I was walking down the Coca-Cola lane when 2 teenage girls approached me and burst into laughter. They had saw my gamer and proud t-shirt and started make sly remarks about how I was "Looking for gamer fuel" and that "I smelled like a Turd that died and resurrected like jesus in a kimchi factory and then died again". After throwing a flurry of insults at me they decided to push my shopping cart over and ran off, which store management came over and immediately blamed me for it. I was told to leave and to take a bath even though it was the shopping cart that had stunk the place up. While I was leaving I heard a clerk mutter the gamer word at me. I wanted to confront them but I was already shaking and told to leave.

Why can't the world just accept us for who we are?

Sounds like you were catfished by guys who play Call of Duty I.R.L. Everybody knows teenage girls do not exist, and making sly remarks and calling you a turd is the gamer's idea of flirting.
