Both 4Chan and it's rejected offspring Kiwifarms had been terminated from server providers in the past for good reason.
4Chan is no longer under management of the original owner and host. That was terminated for so-called free speech becoming a mass sewage leak of CP (mostly in cartoon form), beheadings, terrorism, and school shooters, etc.
The creator of 4Chan Christopher "moot" Poole had claimed Hiroyuki Nishimura took over the owner of 4Chan since 2015. At the very same time, Hiroyuki Nishimura had been raided by the police for his 2Channel forum, which was seized. It's not Hiroyuki Nishimura running 4Chan, he's arrested, but rather a fed backboned server these days. It can withstand even the DDoS attacks and hackers, which previously had crippled the old 4Chan from even functioning anyways.
As for Kiwifarms, the owner of that Joshua Moon, came from 8Chan, a reject of 4Chan, which he got kicked off being a content mod after allowing CP (mostly in cartoon form) and child rape stories. He assumes child abuse content isn't real if it's drawn or written.
Kiwifarms had in the past been terminated for hosting CP (mostly in cartoon form), doxxing and slandering, death threats, terrorist videos and manuals, bomb threats, and illegally ripped content. It was suspended even from CloudFlare hosting by police request due to it's threats.

The host provider who allowed extremists, neo-nazis, terrorism content and far-right forums, gave them a new server to remain online, had later even terminated them again for similar abuse. CP (mostly in cartoon form) and an underage member uploading videos of themselves watching adult porn, etc. Now Joshua Moon wants to sue that host that was the only one who would rehost them at the time.
Even with Elon Musk and his xTwitter, claiming freedom of speech, removing rules... he ended up CP abuse materials over it and fined $610,500 by eSafety. It seems to happen a lot every time someone tries to remove anti-hate speech and other rules, pretending that is free speech somehow. It goes toxic, toxic, more toxic, extreme toxic, and then just keeps on trying to push it to see how illegal and gross it can get. There's the same old pattern every single time, yet they try the silly rinse and repeat, this time it will be different somehow.
You can tell who uses the site too much because they all have the same personality
You can easily be permanently shadow-banned at a moment's notice without investigation into why you've been banned. All they do is display the IP of the person who was banned, and that's it, no questions asked (that is as open as they are—unless you 'buy' your way back in with membership). They have unregulated power, and with that in mind, they also have a groupthink problem, much like Reddit.
4chan is an illusion of promises with its surface-level "anonymity" and seemingly unregulated chaos. Sure, it is chaotic, yet chaos isn't what validates that it truly promotes free speech. This is a place full of power-hungry moderators and a wave of fanatics with primarily the same compressing answers to most questions. Plus, on top of that, the owner of that website has directly injected a plugin that sends all your data straight to Google; not to mention, 4chan is a place that is also full of feds (a great way to easily get on the watch list if you say something that is remotely open to interpretation—they have more cops there than you could count on your fingers).
Now you might find some 'free speech' toxic websites stay around, but if it's on the ClearNet (or even sometimes the DarkWeb), you can better believe if it's stuck around for some time, it's because it's been fed backboned and they are merely using it as a honeypot.
You get all sorts of confessions on them. If it wasn't for all the harassment and abuse towards others as well, it would be just like criminals announcing their crimes to the world and claiming that's their free speech.
if the place have an actual good moderation that don't involve banning random ass virtual content because ♥♥♥♥ your western double standards, and respect actual human being, then i'd have that.
unfortunately the latter tend to not exist.
Who demand their "right" to do and say whatever they want, while blaming any trouble or hurt they cause on the victim.
I've never been able to solve them. I've tried dozens of times, gone back again and again over the years. I've watched youtube videos on how to solve the captchas. I've gone to reddit and there are threads in the 4chan subreddit about the captchas.
It seems that if you work for an alphabet agency then you hold the opinion that the captchas are really easy and anyone who can't solve them is stupid.
But if you are an actual 4channer, then they're basically impossible.
It seems that they are working as intended and will probably not be removed.
- I also wonder if this is the real reason that 8chan was taken down. They don't want people posting anonymously at a forum like this. They took down 8chan and they have 4chan under control.
Thus we've reached a point where people unfamiliar with 4chan's captcha implementation are actually filtered out.
You get a glipse of how nice and productive 4chan posts are whenever the site updates its captcha and temporarily block out all the 3rd parties that successfully automate the captcha from constantly spamming it.
