I like PCs for complex games or games that have complex interfaces. I like consoles for action-oriented games of all sorts.

I used ride my bike quite a long way, through heavy traffic, to get to a store that had a Colecovision console on display and that would let "customers" play it. I loved the Baseball game. The people working there knew I just came there to play that console, so they let me as long as I let others who were obviously interested in buying one play it. Simpler times...

i remember days like that i miss when n64 games could be played for free as long as you lets others played, good times.

PC as time goes on you can upgrade it on the other hand you have to buy an ever more expensive console almost every year, it's like the damn phones

I own both and I play both. Lately I've been pretty burnt out so I just watch netflix on my big screen TV. I lost a lot of time in gaming and I'm even laying in bed as I type this out.

Both are good. It all comes down to preference.

PC is obviously the superior gaming platform, but it can be annoying to get games to work the way you want them since PC games cannot be optimized for everyone's rig. This is especially true if you don't have the most up-to-date (and most expensive) tech.

There's a simplicity to consoles which is great. The games are optimized to everyone's console since they are all the same. You can just put the game in and play. If the game runs like poo, you know it's not your end.

Until consoles are digital only like PC, both are good to have.

But when consoles are digital only with no transferring games from console to console, they'll eventually be bricked when the store for them is closed.

My PC has games I purchased back in 2008.

Yup, pay $500 or more for a console that's going to be bricked in less than 10 years.

I do have to say PS5, but I wish Playstation would have level system like how Steam does, it's like a game in a game and i know a lot of people will disagree when liking the Steam level system but I dig it. but for other use I think Playstaion is just easier to use overall

I just never bought a console, so I'm used to just using my PC for games as well.

Also, no "generations".

Quality of PC games has clearly improved as well, so we're generally on par with the consoles anyway.
