in effect trump is like a giant baby that always gets what he wants so he never throws a tantrum or starts whinging because no one is paying attention to him or what he is babbling, trying hard to get others to make sense of it, so his carers are doing all that for him. so i'll stick with that figurative argument, since it's most apt.

Tump doesn't know what laws are or why they are there when he can't have his own way, yet he is more than willing to know they are there and respect them when he gets his own way, think of the laws like a childproof safety gate, he wants to get out and do all sorts of things without supervision, and has previously done things without the supervision of his carers, so now the childproof gate is being closely monitored and Trump doesn't like that he can't get out and as a result start whinging to say this childproof lock is in his way and he wants it gone, he always gets what he wants. But now his carers can't give him everything he wants any more, not even to let him out until the people monitoring the childproof gate are removed, and as his previous actions without supervision come to light, more eyes are watching that gate to keep him there.

Trump has lost a few of his carers over the years, Roy Kohn, Michael Cohen, Rudy Guilani and others, and always had others willing to be there and clean up after him, the latest is Alina Habba who is likely to end up getting herself into trouble in the same way all the others did before another new carer takes over looking after Trump.
