What your describing is affection. Goodwill.

Love is a relationship, and is much deeper than just affection.

Because it's a relationship, you can't have love if it's not reciprocated. This means "puppy love" or "love at first sight" isn't actually love. It's affection.

It also means you don't actually know if God really does love you if he never tells you so and never does anything to help you. Like you know, if you're living in abject misery and praying to him every day to lift you out of abject misery.

What would be your replacement for money? Bartering will never work, as the value of one item to a person might not be the same value for another. Money puts an objective price on goods and services. Good luck finding another way that works.
