Why is money so evil?
The richer you are the more evil you are. Good people are always stuck poor so they can't change anything about the world around them while rich people are always inherently bad. Do you think it's like how sharks are to blood or something else entirely?

How ironic that Judas betrayed Jesus for silver coins, and then he decided he didn't want the money anymore and regretted his decision, and gave the coins back to the Jews who wanted Jesus dead.

This didn't work out well for Jesus, but Judas was possibly the first person in recorded history to overcome the corruptive allure of money. In that moment, he became a stronger more moral person. Too bad it was possibly too late to save him from judgement. The deed was done.

Also this worked out really well for the Jews. Not only did they get to kill the guy they wanted dead, but they got their money back. it was a free killing. I bet they all danced in a circle.

I don't think money is evil or rich people always evil

But like the bible says, the LOVE of money is the root of all evil

Peoples don't "love money" they love what it brings and that's living well... can any of you blame them?
ok, why it has something to do with religion? mine is not even that extreme just because he was religious.

God created reality and everything works as he intends it. It even says in the Bible we get the rulers that God sets in place.

So he's the reason morally depraved abominations wearing the skin of humanity always have all the money and the rest of us live in abject misery.

But that's not what the other religions say

Other religions don't have Kenneth Copeland and Mr. Copeland needs another jet.

Hush. Don't tell the Jews that.
Money is not inherently evil, it is merely a resource. It's just that many people tend to get corrupted by it.

Gotcha. Then I guess I shouldn't bring up how Christianity is just a spin-off of Judaism either, and how Christians are frothing out the mouth because they aren't god's chosen ones. They have to talk to a middle man to get to god, jews talk right to the big man.

But no worries My lips are sealed.
"It's the jeeeeeews"
Haven't heard that one a million times before, 10/10 for originality

Money is just a tool and the men who forget that are just weak. Money itself never was the problem and I also think our time period favorise the worst kind of psychopaths at the top, as we're in a society where lying, manipulating, using and dumping peoples, lead you to little to no bad consequences, quite the opposite. Peoples just tend to forget it wasn't always the case in History, there was some very moral and kind rich peoples at some time periods too, but yeah, in a very different context.

What really matter isn't wealth in reality, it's what you decide to punish or reward, if the most destructive / careless peoples were punished for it and the kindest / productive ones were rewarded for it, we could live in a very different world. What really matter is what we decide to reward or punish.
Money is a social construct

Should let the jews know though that Jesus is already in the old testament. Many times in fact

Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

4 Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was punished.
9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
11 After he has suffered,
he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];
by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[g]
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[h]
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

This is false, all the most evil people I have met in my life were relatively poor (more poor than me and my family)

Not all the poor people are bad but a lot of them are.

And in particular here in the west, they have been raised thinking that the they are entitled to do whatever they want because they were less lucky and so other people owe them whatever they want (same goes with other types of disadvantages... one day I saw a woman in a wheelchair who crossed the street just when the stoplight turned red and and also insulted the people inside the cars and laughed while doing that without even a reason because the people in the cars did not say anything and were just waiting to be able to move again).

This woprld is bad and so the most arrogant and violent people have more chances to get an advantage, to gain something from their behaviour (but this also increases the risks) so of course there are many bad poople amongst the rich too, but there are even more bad people amongst the poor.

Scammers, violent ones, people who do not have any respect and are very dangerous... you can find bad people anywhere, and living in poor conditions for sure does not help at all

This is BS. I see this all the time "money is just a tool"

No. Money is power. Pure, concentrated, POWER.

You need money to live. To buy a house. To buy a car. To buy food. To buy clothes. Everything you need, costs money. Everything you could want, costs money.

Love? Girlfriends expect you to have money. Otherwise they would be lining up to date homeless guys who live under bridges and bathe in the restroom at McDonald's. They don't because they want to live a good life, which costs money.

Yes even love costs money. Friends cost money too.

Money is everything.

This is the world which the God of Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac created.

Now kneel and give thanks to God for any money he permits you to have.

Don't forget the part where Job was loyal to God and God let the devil kill his family, destroy everything he owned, and stole his fortune. When lying naked in the dirt a broken and miserable man God finally chose to bless him again.

Even gave him a new wife. Everything was fine. I'm sure he loved his new wife even more than the first. Humans are replaceable like that.

Wait, what?
