I wish this was true... but in the UK we pay very high taxes but our streets are unsafe, dirty, crime ridden melting pots. Just goes to show the moral decay of britian.
Unless something has severaly changed after Brexit, I can't say that I got that particular impression during my many stays in the UK. Official crime rate statistics also don't point to anything extraordinary.
Like everywhere else you'll tell me, but England is an island. You cant flee your "current problems" very far.
You get what you pay for. Can't think of any movers and shakers of the world coming out of the European university system.
In Europe you usually have something that idk you call it in english where if you get good marks during a year you are given money that you can use later on for education for that year 🤷♀️

And no, equity is more important than equality. This means giving people what they need to be successful, rather than treating everyone exactly the same. For example, people with disabilities may need more support to thrive, so it's important to provide accommodations and assistance tailored to their needs. If we only focus on equality and give everyone the same opportunities, it can be difficult for those who are struggling to succeed.
