Ukrainians wanting Ukrainian localization for the game they care about is valid. Period.

Stop engaging in discriminatory and genocidal rhetoric against Ukrainian people, you might not care for what russia is doing to Ukraine, that's your right, but please stop helping russia erase our identity

Ukrainian language =/= russian language
Ukrainians =/= russians
Ukraine =/= russia

We don't want to be related in any way to the people that have invaded Ukraine and are killing our people for being Ukrainian and daring to claim ownership over our future

On the other hand how is that all Ukrainian localisation beggars always obviously understand English while asking for it? Where are those others who can't understand the game? understanding English doesn't preclude us from wanting to see our favorite games in our native language, it's a very nice feeling to finally be acknowledged as a separate ethnicity and nation from russia, as i hope you won't deny that this was the international sentiment until russia invaded Ukraine

we simply want to make it known to developers that we enjoy their games and want to see them in our native language

i think it's a pretty wholesome and benign argument to put forward, because at the end of the day it's the developer's choice to invest or not to invest

None of your arguments have any importance in videogames.
You can keep trying to change the focus to some nationalistic or political BS, but videogames don't give a sht about your feelings that have nothing to do with games.

All videogames have their own topic, style, creative direction, lore, story. Some have political elements, some have fantasy elements. It has nothing to do with game localisation. It's not localised in Mongolian either. Probably the communists there wouldn't be able to buy teh game anyway. So now you also have a problem with the story of the game?
