Why I am Proud to be Woke
Woke means you care about the well-being of all people — regardless of their race, religion, ability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, etc. The human in me sees the human in you.

Woke means that you do not believe that you are better than any other person and what you deserve, they deserve too.

Woke means that you are caring, compassionate, and empathetic.

Woke means that you see the world from an abundance, rather than a scarcity, mentality.

Woke means that you learn about people who are different from you and value and respect those differences.

Woke means you share what you have and what you know, rather than hoard it.

Woke means that you not only care about the well-being of all people, but you take action when you see inequitable and/or inhumane treatment.

Woke means you believe that what happens to the least of us affects all of us.

Woke means that you have a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love. These words are from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as he shared his wisdom on how everybody could be great through serving others.

The bottom line is: “Woke” is about love — agape love. Agape is the highest form of love that is given, whether or not it’s returned. It’s love without any self-benefit. In the Buddhist tradition, it is the central foundation of loving kindness for all humankind. Mahatma Gandhi said that love should be the organizing principle of individual lives as well as the whole of society. He said, “Where there is love, there is life and where there is love, there is light.”

I don’t think many would argue that we need more love in the world today. There is way too much hate and violence being spewed by the far right and being acted upon by too many people, causing great harm to others. We see it every day in schools, sports events, political venues, and neighborhoods — attacks on innocent people who are merely trying to live their lives. We need more woke.

Being Woke is all about being a kinder person. But everyone that disagree come up with a hateful pattern of fabrication. That something or somewhat is coming to end the world. It's always fearful and hateful. It's a very common pattern. It is a after effect of fear mongering.

Thats what we Christians believe too, the ones that have fallen for the Pharisaic christian ways you always hear about.

You are free to do you. But that's where it ends. You have to realize YOU are the minority, trying to push your values to change the behavior of the masses will always end unfavorably for you. Your values do not align with everyone's, including the masses. If the tables were turned and woke was the majority of the masses, you know damn well you would not be cool with the smaller group pushing their values on you, telling you to change your values, and that even though the values don't complement each other, you are expected to acknowledge their values.

You're not special, you are no freedom fighter for this cause. You are just a wannabe bully looking for attention because you cannot access it in more socially appropriate ways.

I think you mixed the definitions of "woke" and "decent human being".

That may be how you define it OP but I highly doubt some others see it that way ... including me.

I see the negative consequences of it in the actions of the woke ... not in their ability to talk about it.

Woke is a brain disease. Stop trying to make out this identity politics insanity as something it's not.

"Being Woke is all about being a kinder person."
That's absolutely NOT what woke means. QUIT LYING!

And it means that everyone who is NOT woke, is the opposite of all of this. Therefore you are completely justified to release all of your hate, which you have repressed all this time while you were pretending to be the second coming of Jesus Christ, right in their face with a blast cannon.

Woke means that you are caring, compassionate, & empethetic?

Hahahaahaaaaaaa...

Are you serious??

They are stating the exact line that Minorities like to use...

Only Minorities don't actually threaten People with
the so called idea that oh, we disagree so we must
actually ban you, ~_~

I've pretty much stated those words a lot on the Forums in past 4 Years...

I'm surprised some People didn't actually notice that??
