I been seeing a lot a videos on how youtubers are have been sponsoring scams and bad companies and its got me thinking if all youtubers are scumbags for doing it and if im a scumbag for not having an adblocker? what do you guys think

What the Youtubers have in their videos - is their thing imho. But the general ads of Youtube are also oftentimes scams. So imho Youtube itself is a scam, as they don´t care in the slightest how they earn their money - and show it to everyone. Meanwhile i see that the U.S. wants to ban Tik Tok. They should to it consequently and ban Youtube as well. Oh wait - the one scam company is Chinese, while the other is American. So obviously only ban the Chinese one...

Also using an Adblocker would be like knowing that it´s bad - but ignoring it willingly, so it looks better...

There are Youtubers with little or no ads, or only a sponsor ad, which can always be skipped as it´s part of the video...

Sponsored don't mind if they're brand is associated with fraud as long as the scammer isn't racist

You are a scumbag for not having a general adblocker, but it's understandable to not have sponsorblock to skip those segments

They want to earn money and viewers can always skip or fast forward. I wouldn't expect decent YouTubers making so much content without financial support.
