But, to answer this one - No.

I have experienced things that I have made great efforts to try to explain using conventional science... and have been found wanting.

Even so, I was not "scared" in any practical sense. Maybe once, in a very brief moment, but that was fleeting.

Mind you if they did the same experiments in 400 years time with more advanced technology they might find something.

it kinda depends on how they are represented and what my disposition is in this whole deal.
if it is like casper the friendly ghost kinda deal, i probably wouldn't mind it.
all though since casper is incorporial and can phase through walls he would probably find a job with a secret service agency.
if i am the necromancer i would probably also be fine with it since they would be bound to my will.

if i could ressurect sexy undead vampire queens. yes totally.
like those gals in da leslie nielsen movie ''dead and loving it.''

i would imagine tho, if they do appear. it would be hard not too get excited.
because that would mean necromancy could be real too.
and it would be great if they are ammicable aswell.

real, I've been paralysed by fear a couple times because of it
and I know it wasn't a dream because I was being a kid and staying up past my bedtime, it was just me and my mum and no signs of break ins or anything
I would hear voices and sounds crying and screaming and had one of them watch me sleep one night
even when I had pets they would start acting weird and refuse to go to certain places in the house uwu

nope, was always wide awake and able to move around the house like normal

saying weird ♥♥♥♥ might get ya diagnosed by folks who don't have such experiences or have repressed them for whatever reason. making a big fuss about anything might always draw the ire of biased folks

in da case of ghosts they are suposed to be ''undead''
which is quite a leap to see something strange and assume it must be the spirit of a previously alive something (which is what i assume is the colloquial definition of ghostliness)

there's lots o necronomic lore to be found in da games i play, if ya are into fantasy im sure it is for you too, all kinds of dank and dark entities find their place in it.

narcissus fell in love with his own reflection im told. and all the necromantic entities come with a nice batch of lore that describe their behaviour and disposition. the fear and unsettling atmosphere horrors can inspire, might also be viewed as a sense of power that some folk seek to project. rather then understanding what the hell is going on.

all though to gather more information speculations need to be made and a hypothesis needs to be formed so you have something to work from. (if you consider it worth the trouble)
so you might have to set foot into the twilight realm of half-truths and hearsay.
once obsessions turn into possessions.

thing with walking into the darkness is that you will always sacrifice your sight. and that is a high price to pay for most folks because usually that is where the future also resides. but maybe your eyes will ajust like da riddick. there's stuff to take into account like everything that goes into generating what your sensibilities might be like.

if certain phenomena prove consistend enough that you can imagine a conciouss divisive intelligence behind it. you might project your distrust and ire upon humans. if they don't make any demands and don't make themselves known however, if all you are left with is a bunch of torment that presents itself during moments where you seek your respite, and a whole lot of self-reflection.

do ya ever go looking into a mirror to see if you can find a face that you are afraid off?
when the anti matter entities finally appear do you think you will have it in you too step closer and investigate? or will you just be standing there silently watching to see if it will make the first move?

if you buy yourself a blacklight and shine at yourself in the mirror in the dark you might find yourself appearring quite pale aswell :)

A very interesting perspective & analogy that certainly has speculations needing to be made and a hypothesis needing to be formed. Continued theory & experimentation is the result of curious organic minds, especially where modern science has no answer yet. All we can do is continue to speculate, formulate theories & ponder the things not yet proven or disproven with conventional scientific reasons or methods.

You spoke about "walking into the darkness is that you will always sacrifice your sight" our eyes, our retinas only see in 2D, it is the brain that completes the picture & gives us the 3D images. We live in a 3 dimensional world but can only see in 2 dimensions, is probably why they seem body less, transparent & see-through.

Perhaps it is when we loose our eye sight, our 2 dimensional lenses, that we start to see differently with new lenses. We cannot discover new oceans unless we have the courage to lose sight of the shore.

You also spoke about the mirror & the reflection, but yet how many of us can openly & easily speak about the separation of body & spirit ??????
