When I was in middle school the parents of one of my friends were breeders of a type of dog called Cane Corso.
2 Of the males had names that were kind of funny; one was named Woody and another was named Boner.
One of these turds got a cat and called it 'Dishcloth' which I thought was typical of the state of minds these people had. I have never forgotten the hate I had for these morons for doing that.
I came from a family of cat lovers and I was later to have 5 of my own. 4 at one time - they were adorable of course :-D
EDIT:
'Hate' at 18 was different to 'hate' 40 years on'... ;-)
Part Golden... 'nuff said. :)
"Hate" back then would be flavored with that face-flushing rage in wanting to enact revenge, but knowing you can't or not knowing how.
"Hate" today is that cold seething anger knowing you can enact revenge, and exactly how you'd do it, but choosing not to because you don't want to end up in jail...

Pretty much sums it up for those of us who can/has to resist it :-)
