Situation in Haiti
Guys, any update on the situation in Haiti? I believe the country is in conflict, criminal gangs are overthrowing the government forces causing many innocent Haitians to flee their homes hoping to find a new home. We may yet again see another massive migration happening soon, probably towards the US.

Will the US accomodate Haitian migrants/refugees/asylum seekers if the situation in Haiti gets out of hand? Will Joe Biden help the Haitian people?

What's happening in Haiti is a product of a thoroughly-corrupt government bleeding a country dry. Using gangs as a catalyst for revolution is ugly, but I hope something positive comes out of it.

As for US: Ukraine has more strategic value than Haiti, especially when you consider:

As for migrants: What's happening in New York has made this all look like a bad idea.

Ukraine won't fall any time soon

But

Haiti falling to criminal gangs isn't good for the US either.

That would be the Dominican Republic's problem before it becomes an issue for the US.
News today:

A 'cannibal' gang and its ‘Barbecue’ leader pull Haiti into chaos.

Haiti has descended into chaos and it Prime Minister is unable to return home. Gang leader, infamous as 'Barbecue' for burning people alive, has become the most powerful person in Haiti.

It's practically a failed state and it has headed that way for quite awhile.

What about other nations? Are any other nations in the region allowed to help?

Recognize BBQ as the leader and see what happens. Governments and gangs are the same thing, the previous gang was bad at ruling its turf.
Ship them to Alaska.
Seems like their PM Ariel Henry just resigned a few minutes ago?
