food box recipes
Has anyone ever tried them?
How'd they taste?

it's the little recipes that they have in the back of like cornflakes to make fried chicken or the cake batter to make brownies instead as prime examples?

so far i tried the cornflakes and it tastes too too sweet but with a few more spices it semi evens out
10/10 would recommend trying it on an air fryer instead of the oven

they're industrial recipes right out of the industrial cookbooks.

although sometimes the brand owner is literally too cheap to pay $200 for a book that has literally every recipe used in industry written down, so they alter one of the recipes to be terrible and present it as original instead.
recipes not alot of people know of or try cooking from experience

hence i ask has anyone tried to make some and how'd they turn out

ngl some are bad (usually value brand ones) but some are really really good (most of the baking ingredient ones are honestly good)
Chex muddy buddies are so good that they make them premade and sell as a snack item.

The recipe is on Chex cereal boxes and you can make a metric crap ton of it and it's better than the premade crap.

tried them

can vouch for them they go HARD hand made vs store bought
no cut corners

also the hershey cake made from cocoa powder instead of the premix bags also tastes a little bit better for some reason

I think the homemade muddy buddies are like some kind of drug, once I start it's hard to stop. And the recipe makes SO MUCH.
