Who is "we"?. Don't you dare trying to claim to speak for all Dutch.
Based on what sample size?
As for getting offended about Americans calling us Europeans, who cares ? Does that really bother you that much ? Let's be real, a lot of Americans can't name on the map where the Netherlands is anyway, but I bet neither can most Europeans point out where a lot of countries outside of Europe is (I definitely can't, I can tell you almost every European country, but I don't know where is any Latin American country, or Asian, or African, etc.)
It's just a convenient label, to say someone from the European continent. Don't be offended so easily
I replied.. to that one user... and used we in the sense you and me.
I am dutch. period. within the netherlands you have a province called holland;)
not all dutch are hollander.. some are.. in the same way not all americans are texan.
your logic is nonsensical
well it's basicly 3 fold..
1 there is a real push to make the eu into 1 state.. which I believe only the corrupt goverements of nations in europe want.. the citycens in all those nations do not want that.,. and actually want a lot less eu.. (which is why they deny us the vote on an exit like the UK had for most nations would vote similair)
**framing people as being "european" is one part of an attempt to wipe out the current nationality's..
2 hearing people often americans.. but it can be used in any publication.. to say things bout I am going to europe or europeans are such and such vs americans such and such..
I am like WHAT nationality.. we differ vasty....
america = a nation
eurrope = not.
it would be like calling people from the usa "north ameircans" which technocally they are.. but if you than start to make general statements as if north america is 1 nation with 1 culture.. thats the thing...
yes there is a continent called europe.. and those from it are thus europeans.. in the same way all americans aare also north americans.. all chinese are also asians and all chadians are also africans...
but to that treat the whole continent as 1 group and 1 nation.. thats nonsense.,. if I said I moved to north-america and I ment to honduras.. and start saying things bout north-america.. when it's all my limited experience with honduras.. you would also be like.. wtf...
I would like to get a source for that.... Especially since most polls show a very clear majority for staying in the EU, especially after the Brexit disaster.
So please show me poll data, that indicates that the majority of the EU nations would prefer leaving the EU. Which is your claim here.
Many things you claimed so far are based solely in your own political bias but not in objective facts.
