Growing up I was oppressed by the right. As an adult I've been oppressed by the left. So I don't really trust either side not to abuse power and censor.

The left won't solve poverty because it needs the poor to vote for it. The right won't drop its thousands old book full of awful ideas like stoning people to death

Hilary was who made me ditch being a lefty. I was a blind believer in obama like a lot of people. Like oh here we go, racism can finally end when people see you can be anything even president of the country, regardless of race.

He spoke of hope and change, and me and a lotta others bought it hook, line and sinker. But he made everything worse.

I have my ideas of how to live but ultimately people have to figure out what works for them.

Both sides are hellbent on controlling others and it gets really old really fast.

That's because it's the same people. They just make you think they're on opposite sides. If you are a politician with the goal of gaining power and putting money in your pocket, you wouldn't care what side you are on. All they have to do is point fingers and claim whatever the current narrative is and you will believe them. Mean while the politicians from either "side" work together to enrich themselves. But, carry on with spouting their narratives and complaining about it if you like.
