I got decent in Tekken as a brand new player. I started in Tekken 7. Some pros been playing since Tekken 3.
Yes it is :special:
I use to play a tonne of mk11 but stopped a few years back and I’ve lost all my skill. It’s really annoying cause I’m just getting combo’ed the ♥♥♥♥ out of.

In mk 10 i have 563 wins and only 1 loss.
dude you have to be hella sweaty, I mean oozing sweat like your're in a sauna to be seriously good or competitive. They have like hand made joystick type controllers for the hard core sweat lords in these games. I knew a guy who was into Soul Calibur seriously. he was just way to into it. You could see the sweat start to form as he talked about it.

mash buttons learn some combos have fun with friends, etc. If not be prepared to be hella sweaty.

Cap. What rank are you?
Where there is competitive gaming, causality tends to get bullied.
That's not to say that competitive gaming is bad, because it certainly isn't, but there is definitely a subsect of that crowd who takes it entirely too seriously.
Idk, I liked Mk1 a lot as a kid.

Then MK2 came out and it was cool. But then you fight someone and its 1 mistake and then combo = dead.

Mk3 ult was fun

And I've hated combos in fighting games ever since. Long combos are just, oh boy, look at you showing off while I don't get to play. full hp to dead? You don't say

I haven't played a fighting game in a long time. But if I did it would be vs the cpu, cuz I hate that who wins or not is decided by who memorizes the combination of 60 button presses or not

I’m kinda glad in Tekken 8 they tone down on the combo damage if you’re being juggled. Being juggled is more for style points now than anything.
Just play DOA. Even if you lose, you still win.

No I'm not lying. And I don't know haven't ran the game in over 2 years. I have played mortal kombat since 1992 when mk came out. And a cap is something you put on your head or on a container to stop the contents from leaking out.

A example of a cap is what they put on soda bottles so your soda stays carbonated.

How many matches did you leave to keep this ratio?

I am laughing right now because people do that in Tekken. It’s called “plugging”. They leave the match by disconnecting before they lose. The game counts as a “no contest” when someone disconnects.
