Cylinder Stuck!! HELPPP needed
How would you get a small cylinder (5.1 in length, ~4.5in girth) unstuck from a mini M&M tube filled with butter and microwaved mashed banana?

The posts will continue as long as I don't mend my ways of getting the cylinder stuck in unusual ways.

But yeah, points sound good too

Try a vacuum with a sheet over the hose, it'll suck it out but won't get swallowed.
I don't think having a vacuum too close to the cylinder will be a good idea. It is imperative that the cylinder and the larger object it is attached to stay unharmed
Why's it imperative?

Cause the cylinder is important to the OP

If taking it out of the tube is so important then why'd you put it in there in the first place? 🤦

Let's just say the OP wasn't thinking straight and now regrets it. But the cylinder is of importance to the OP
Maybe Betty Lou could help with this one. She could suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

drill 1mm holes around the top of the cylinder, insert sounding rod to check for location of cylinder. once cylinder is confirmed, and presumably not in contact with top portion, run can opener around bottom of tube, just to puncture an edge. then use a butter knife to pry the incision wider, and insert forceps into the opening to push the obstruction out.

the holes are to help equalize pressure and encourage the tube to bend flex-ways rather than warp and put lateral pressure on the cylinder.

You could also put the tube somewhere warm to make the butter more maleable. Such as your pocket.

OP tried to do this. He gathered all the required materials but when the time came OP couldn't do it as the mere thought of damaging the cylinder sent shivers down the my spine. I guess I'll just have to live with my favourite cylinder stuck in an M&M tube
