if you're talking about neopronouns then, well, usually they also list "they/them" pronouns as an alternative so I'll use those
on the off chance they don't... I'll just refer to them by their username

How many IRL conversations do I have with multiple participants that I then need to refer to individually with third person pronouns?

So few that I don't care.

My brain can handle being polite for all other "I don't care" moments so what's an extra one going to do to me. So I use the pronoun. It becomes an anecdote in later life about some conversation I once had.

And if it's on the internet? Online? Costs me even less, but I'm not enabling you if I can't spell how you want me to talk about you to others with. That's the only line I draw.

how is using the wrong pronouns racist or a crime? for it to be a hate crime it needs to be illegal, not trying to be rude just asking

if u deliberately do it as in bullying / harassing people using that tactic ( wrong pronoun ) then u can face hate crime charges but that's nothing new

harassment / s-harassment / verbal abuse

I don't think u run much of a risk if you generally stay away from people and behave like a decent human being and if you haven't lived under a rock the past ten years u can certainly know "them" but i don't wanne shame any1 for living "off the grid" and not knowing this
