the physicality and adolescent nature of tenjhou tenge made it a good fit, for example. and one that was often under-emphasized. not always, but often.

ditto for eva's almost clinical ecchi scenes.

Honestly given that its about everywhere not even in Western Cartoons as well, I don't hate it, the jokes are at least usually well hidden enough to not be seen by anyone whos not an adult

Popotan was kind of egregious, and the plot and characterization usually happened at the same time as the conspicuous bathing scenes.

It had a T+A quota of 0 scenes before it was adapted.
