Rooster Teeth is shutting down after 21 years.

Straight from their official site.

While it does suck, I'm not really surprised at all, the writing has been on the wall for a few years at this point.

I do hope that RvB Restoration performs well, the shows thrown into the wind are picked up by other companies, and of course, the 150+ people laid off, plus contractors are able to find great new jobs.

I've been a fan of RvB for a long time. It's my favorite piece of media ever, and it sucks that everything is going down like this.

It's been inevitable since their incorporation into a Warner Bros sub-studio after the Sony/Warner deal was already known as final. 2006-7 or so.

Honestly pretty good run, all things considered.
