...so...it's a series...made to cover up jake adelstein's book, where he reported that the FBI flew Goro into the US using diplomatic channels and gave him a liver off the national donors list?

that's what he implied, anyway, given how he framed the custody of information when he told his yakuza contacts about it. the FBI's 'ignorance' looks kind of like an internal issue, similar to the yakuza's 'ignorance' of the situation.
