I think my cousin is stalking me.

So to make this short, I used to be pretty cool with my cousin. We would sometimes have conversations in discord and occasionally queue in valorant. However, after a while, it was becoming apparent that I’m not really that close with her so I decided to just leave her discord server and unfollow her on all social media platforms.

However, there is one social media app called “Medal” where you share gaming highlight clips with other people. (It’s like the instagram of gaming clips.) In that app, you can view who has seen your clips.

One of my clips was seen by my cousin back in December. I thought it was strange because I blocked her but I guess medal doesn’t block people from viewing your videos. And then recently as of today, she viewed 3 of my recent videos.

Is this stalking or no? And if it is, what do I do.

Don't cheapen actual stalking with poor accusations of stalking.

Maybe they are just trying to reconnect with you? It is a little drastic to accuse someone of stalking when they simply viewed one of your public accounts which they know the name of.

That is not stalking. I am sure she is wondering what happened to you and why you suddenly removed and blocker her. Not being close with an extended family member is not a reason to block them. It is an action that was not necessary and benefited nobody.

so you decided she wasn't that close with you, so you punish her for your assumptions, and now she is just checking up to see how you are doing and now you are punishing her again for another assumption?

This happened to me where a relative stalked me through a cousin. I found out and blocked the cousin and the relative threw a tantrum. I knew because that cousin told my wife who told me. It was hilarious to be honest.

Imagine being so socialy inept that you can't even tell a family member that you have issues.

Family is allowed to follow, that's what they do. lol. If you don't want that, and are unable to communicate this with actual words, then it seems you are the one with the issue, especially now that you are looking to frame the 'other' person as a stalker now..... when they have no idea what's going on.
