Will you dodge the eventual WW3 draft?
With all this talk about wars around the world, I'm getting a sneaking suspicion that the powers that be will try to do something stupid, like bring back the draft to send young men into the meat grinder of whatever conflict will become the next forever war.

I'm personally thinking about fleeing to Canada once the draft letters come flying in, rather than getting shipped off to die in Israel, Ukraine, or Guyana. Besides, I'll be able to come back home once the war is over and the next head of state decides to pardon all the draft dodgers for votes à la Jimmy Carter.

There is no good reason for the US to be in any of those conflicts. So yes, absolutely
No Europe has plenty of fighting age males, they can handle it themselves.

Unless you're as technologically advanced as the United States numbers doesn't matter much in war.

It's fear-mongering. That's all that it is.
Fear-mongering and doom scrolling.
100% feels, 0% reals.
They can't lift that cannon. I'm calling that shot right now.

Are you sure about that? Over the last 20 years, G7 and the petrodollar have plummeted, BRICS has climbed considerably. A few years ago, BRICS overtook G7 as the dominant global economic system and a lot of countries are signing onto it and switching over. Manufacturing, energy, and many other sectors and exports from the US have been crippled. The only thing we're doing, and doing well anymore is making weapons and using them. What does a county whose only remaining asset is waging war do when it's standing at the precipice of ruin?

Do not forget, on the global scale the US was a nobody until it started getting involved in global conflicts we otherwise had no reason to be in. World wars are what made us a global powerhouse to begin with.

Dodging all the way.

I will join the war as a drone pilot.
All that time playing Watch Dogs series will pay off.

I'm 55 years old with medical issues that would disqualify me from joining if I wanted to enlist and there's no super soldier serum that would fix that. :happykitty:

Dumb question but why can't we just mass produce drones and just put guns on them. It'll be a Mini-Apache Helicopter.

That's basically what Ukraine does, drops bombs on tanks and troops with drones
Cant dodge a military if they wont accept you into the military to begin with XD.
I doubt a draft would even work today with Gen Z and millennials
