I Just Tried a McRib….

For years I avowed to try it and whenever I got around to doing it the opportunity was gone. Today was finally the day.

Only real comment, why a “McRib”? I did not bite into one rib bone at all. Should be called “McRibless”.

Tried it once, that was enough not to repeat that. Taste wasn't horrid, just bland. Constancy though.... Well least I understand why people might like it. (idk why I like the cheap slices of pizza from the 7-11 up the street, we all have our faults)

I swear to never buy McRibs every time they are unavailable in my area. Then they reappear and I am traveling like a mad man without Artery disease eating 4 or 5 per meal and start yelling at the manager when they disappear. They got me.

I do say over the years the taste has changed a little for the worse, but I can't tell if it is me or them.

How dare you and NO. Actually the key to the whole thing is the Bullseye sauce you can get in your local grocery market. Add that to something tasteless like chicken breasts and a liberal amount of onions between two buns and UUUUUUUMMM!

The sauce is the only thing that has taste. The meat is bland and lacks any chewiness. Kinda like a bar of oatmeal. Way overrated.

It's a limited time item because McDonald's only sells mcribs when the price of pork drops to a sufficiently low price.

It's not even rib meat. It's just pulverized pork pressed into a weird shape. Same as the mcnuggets. They are pulverized chicken pressed into 4 different shapes.

Never had i seen anything like that. It seems like 4-5 sausages were ... molded in the same mold but the link between them was never severed and removed.

Knowing what "pink slime" is, i hasard the educated guess that it was EXACTLY what happened to create this ... thing.



Anyway, i'm not impressed - to say the least.
