it's not the 1960's anymore, the red scare is over.
That's not my point, there is a lot of very different peoples in today's "right". You know why ? Because it's not the right, it's everything else. What we call the "right" now, is everything that isn't socialism, so everything that doesn't agree on an Empire trying to conquer the entire planet, enforcing it's woke propaganda and anti-peoples agenda.
Socialism was always talking about equality while creating an untouchable ruling class with all the wealth and power they want. Promissing a better future while in reality they destroy it, because they care only about their cast. It was the case with nazis and communists, both pretended to act for the sake of their peoples while torturing them, exploiting them and killing them.
Nothing have changed today, except the methods used.
So yeah, from my point of view, socialists are just pissed that they can't ban whoever they want for no reason anymore.

You've got a pretty narrow view of the left, then. It's far more complicated than that. I wouldn't consider myself in league with PETA, for instance. Or trans sports. But I have no problem with avocado toast or trans people.
