Some neo nazis declared EA to be dead as well a while ago due to ‘political reasons’ and EA is still around. So I wouldn’t put much weight into the clownery here. I’m certainly not buying any japsanese consoles for the rest of my life.

I look at Sony and Microsoft and I see a lot of similarities. Both companies own an astonishing number of studios and the IPs that came with them which they are doing absolutely nothing with. Purchased either to shelve them as competition or because they were only interested in acquiring entire companies for one or two IPs and put the rest in storage.

Those actions, and those two companies are a huge reason why modern gaming is such ♥♥♥♥. There's just so little actual competition in AAA anymore.

Please explain. MS seems to be doing quiet well since they've been buying up loads of IP. Now I get to enjoy loads of previously-PS exclusives on my PC.
