question about pre made breaded chicken sandwiches
so we use to get tyson, they were good till we kept getting ones that were messed up or discolored, I don't care too much but family does

we went to Perdue, far better but the texture is FAR more processed than tyson so family doesn't like them, personally I like their breading and quality more than tyson but the texture is honestly not good.

so im trying to find out if anyone makes non processed (pre chewed as family puts it) chicken for chicken sandwiches, but looking for it, I can't really find anything other than trying to make chicken strips work.

We stopped buying Tyson too. They changed something in their manufacturing process and their quality has evaporated.

So we've just been buying fresh chicken breast from Aldi and making sandwiches with them. Just be aware that they are mutant chicken breast and you'll probably want to butterfly them before breading and cooking.

But, no, I'm not aware of any good breaded chicken patties or breasts currently on the market.

i'm ok with making my own, but family liked to eat chicken sandwiches as a 'I don't want to make anything today' meal.

Perdue is probably your best bet, but I agree they ain't great. I despise the factory farm system, and don't eat much meat anymore. When I do eat flesh, I pay more to make sure it's local and ethically sourced. I swear, knowing that makes the chicken taste better.

I know this comment is coming and I'm sad that I'm the one to do it, but constructively and with as much kindness as I can convey...

Do not buy that stuff.

You can get a fricking boneless skinless chicken thigh for around the same price.

Then just dip that bad boy in a flour with salt and pepper and fry it off in a shallow oil.

It'll taste better, it's faster once you know how to do it, and I bet it's even cheaper. You can even add more effort in as you learn. Like egg dredge to make the coating better. Different seasonings. Etc.

If ya go to the meat section of the grocery store you might find pre-breaded stuff like nuggets and the patties you want directly from them. Just wrap em up and freeze them for later. Prob your best bet. (and ya prob already tried where ya go to)

while i'm willing to go to the effort, family is not. they just want a easy "I don't want to deal with making food' meal

though I will be honest, I hate dealing with breading because its a mess and usually turns out like crap, still good to eat but nothing even close to premade.

right now, the option was other pattie's, the problem is while the patties are good, the texture is gross to family, so instead of that I wanted to see if there was anything already prebreaded possibly pre cooked that wasn't ground up and... well... definitely not a chickens texture, the perdue is kind of a half way between tyson and what mcdonalds use to feel like texture wise before they decided to make nuggests higher quality (and at least to me at the time, destroy what made them good in the first place and just made them ♥♥♥♥♥♥ nuggets)

next time we end up going shopping im going to see what the options are, I was mostly wondering if there was something already made with a brand name.
