A Haitian engineer.... What an interesting life he must have had for him to wind up on the Titanic.
Think there was only one black passenger on Titanic. Not sure about the crew.

They were in the coal pits and were some of the very first evacuees.

You have to launch the double-stacked boats one at a time though, so by the time the second or third wave of boats were going out the coal workers were getting edged out.

Will insisted we carve an ice canoe just for them, and gave them most of our alcohol.

they are the iceberg
Most men died because "women and children first" was still a thing back then. Oh and also they completely botched the evacuation entirely. Lifeboat number 1 had a capacity of 65 yet only had like 12 people in it, and many other lifeboats were similar.

In a way, he was immortalized by being a Titanic passenger. If he hadn't perished on the Titanic I'm sure he wouldn't have a wikipedia article.

Because the meaning of life is to be remembered by a bunch of random jerkoffs 100 years from now.

The people who survived definitely got the most attention though.

yeah because people got into fights and murdered eachother on board, and then lied about occupancy to hide it.

He was a vampire who took advantage of his skin color to start the coal fires as part of the sabotage, then also conveniently faked his death to get rid of a family he no longer wanted.
