Were there black people on the Titanic?
They definitely died right? I mean... right?

Because the meaning of life is to be remembered by a bunch of random jerkoffs 100 years from now.
Getting into deep philosophical stuff with this "meaning of life" stuff but yeah generally most people want to leave a legacy of some kind.

And not only was he immortalized by a very-successful life and major event but his children survived. I would say Joseph kind of won at life even though he died.

Most men died because "women and children first" was still a thing back then. Oh and also they completely botched the evacuation entirely. Lifeboat number 1 had a capacity of 65 yet only had like 12 people in it, and many other lifeboats were similar.

yeah because people got into fights and murdered eachother on board, and then lied about occupancy to hide it.

He was a vampire who took advantage of his skin color to start the coal fires as part of the sabotage, then also conveniently faked his death to get rid of a family he no longer wanted.
Yeah there was plenty of fighting, plus the first few lifeboats were so empty because they hid that the Titanic was sinking from most passengers. And I mean ultimately they didn't have enough lifeboats to begin with.

Yeah, no, that's been throughly discredited. The survivors were Important, though. So.

"rank confusion" and "not enough boats" looks a lot better than "murder by status."

Even the ship's capttain looked down on his morals you know. He was a bad man. Heard he has a council seat. Keeps pushing liberal ideals, despite believing in methusalism. Heard he got caught trying to drain his most recent wife, too, during a power struggle.

Heard he wasn't actually Haitan, but French. Turned in the late iron age. All-metal skeleton.

What the hell do you mean throughly discredited? You literally just parroted the same point I made.
They hid the sinking from the plebs and let the important people on the lifeboats.

they actually got on the boats with poor people, manipulated them into killing eachother, then threw the survivors overboard.

for most of them this was their dayjob.

Will insisted we carve an ice canoe just for them, and gave them most of our alcohol.
I knew it! Just when everyone was giving up, saying it was all over, Will was bartering canoes and the last of the ship's stores. I bet he even had his way with the missus. Oh, the waywardness of man. 'Tis a sin to live, and a curse to die. Yar.

no he actually got thrown off of a civvie boat for trying to talk the lords out of killing everyone, and I talked him into joining me on my canoe instead of drowning, and he then insisted we carve some for the people stuck on the berg and give them the alcohol I had so carefully looted from the galley to help superfreeze the boat.

then we got drunk and had arguments for a few days, neither of us truly sure the boat would survive anymore.

and his two children. His wife was white or not black, I'd assume since they didn't count her.

One of his daughters were in the group of the last six living survivors.

This was an interesting black history topic. Thanks.

It's my understanding of the historical scholarship that she was black.

Furthermore, he had 4 adopted children, and the physical descriptions of the two that took the cruise with him don't match the descriptions of the ones that 'came home' with him.

Nobody's ever seen the other 2 adoptees, which makes it look like all 4 were fake and he just grabbed two random kids to pretend to be his after he murdered his family.

Plenty of black coalsmen in the hold. Well-documented. They rode in on ice canoes though, and several prominent businesmen looking for a way out (ie to disappear) also carved iceboats on the berg with us. So. I assume the entire idea of iceboats was simply suppressed, and that the easiest way to do that was to pretend there were no black coalsmen on board.

There was an Asian on the Titanic. More specifically Japanese.
I'm not sure. As others have said.. I'm sure the next Titanic movie will def show you how much 'diversity' was in fact on the ship and give us the real historical take.

also.

titanic was a hit job. Just like the earth is flat and the moon is a giant metal alien military base.

Actually on my final run I just hovered over the deck and snuck around like a ghost to gather supplies. Not technically 'on' the boat, thus not morally responsible for having helped or not helped anyone. Ancient Ninja technique.*

I also dissuaded a historically important figure from taking the cruise. I forget whom that may have been. That was probably the one in the registry.

(Afaik he had citizenship, so...)

*I hung out on an emergency floatie ring tied to the ship when I got tired, which is where I stored the alcohol as well. Both ancient Marine techniques.
