Edit - Can't find any indication it's ever been solidly set for the 13th. Seems like every article gives a different date. Weird. Actually figured it out it's just the early access, brain had a duhhhh moment between beta and early access.
I won't be buying it, ever.
Yes, due to multiple issues. One of the biggest ones is that they had a deal to hire locally, which is sensible if the gov't of Singapore is giving them some breaks.
But, that resulted in skill-drought, most likely. Not terrible, since Ubi has lots of teachers to loan out, but it makes it difficult to actually implement "ideas." There were other issues, I'm sure - Ubisoft hasn't been the most stable developer out there.
I've heard good things about Hogwart's. I think you're better served taking some time to play that and only after you've exhausted it should you then consider Ubi's game.
Personally, I don't think it's finished. I think it was just packed up and shoved out the door. They may add content/etc to it later, if there's enough of a response. Dunno, haven't played it, but I haven't heard good things about it. What coverage I've seen mostly talks about what content the game doesn't have in it, which is a bad sign.
Gamers who support studios like Ubisoft is what AAA gaming has gone to ♥♥♥♥. And they're also some of the biggest complainers after the fact but they just can't say "no."
right now i don't have the money to even entertain the idea, it's all going on other things. even if i did i would only go through Ubisoft exclusively, there is no chance of going down EGS, eff that!
