Gordon approves of OT culinary arts.
Swap that star anise for even more red pepper.

Gordon wiped the tears from his face and said, "Never again. I'll show everybody who the real idiot sandwiches are."

The man likes his offal.
When he's letting people know their carelessness could literally kill someone who eats their food, I'm okay with the indignation. In general though, I don't find the bit entertaining.
They rely on humiliating people for entertainment and views U_U
Yeah, they've been saying that about pretty much all "reality" TV for ages.
25 years later he's advertising Knorr stock cubes, GR has a whole host of rent a mates. So much for their craft eh? Don't start me on Jamie Oliver.
I've never been a real foodie, and I generally don't care about "celebrities" in any field, but I thought MPW was interesting when I learned about him (which was probably in relation to GR).
From what I've seen, MPW seemed to sort of bristle at the idea anyone should be interested in him, even though he took his work very seriously. Yeah, he basically told interviewers to f-off, but he also let them in the kitchen in the first place, no?
To make a point: Watch me silently chop these mushrooms: Do you actually think there's any more to it than this?
Maybe I'm reading into it, but that's how it comes off to me. The Knorr commercials aren't even incompatible with the attitude.
