Who is surprised? Legislation that no one cares about, it's not going to improve anyone's living standards or conditions. Merely, it's going to make it harder for a small minority group that is already suffering from mistreatment to live their everyday lives.

People should use the bathroom that they are most comfortable with using and whichever matches with their self-expression the best. It shouldn't be up for Republicans to decide other people's bathroom businesses and how they do them.

These legislation efforts have to end now.

we are in the 21th century now. Having men that identify as girls isn't a norm. I've already stated that this problem didn't exist in the 70's. So tbh I'm not sure wtf your actual point is. No one is against unisex bathrooms when those unisex bathrooms are single user.

Based on this idea why not simply making it a law that if one is passable they can use the bathroom that they pass as.

I mean we have certain laws about restrooms, but these are about making them available. I´m not aware of a law that says who has to go where, as people would do this by default. And if anything criminal happens on said restroom it´s independent of the gender, or sex of the people, or if they were in the "appropriate" restroom. It´s rather the other way around that it´s discrimination to not let people on the restroom they think they belong to...

The bills talked about in the article are much more then bathroom. Should we also have 1 locker room for all? Maybe 1 prison for both sexes?

Agreed, toilet stalls should be equipped with anti bacterial, high suction apparatuses that vacuum the contents of your bowels, kidneys and balls, followed by a quick wash and dry of your entire genital region; with paid premium options such as direct administration of dietary supplements and/or medication, vaxinations, rectal examinations, hair removal and ct scans.
