Remind me again who the US is actually in an active war with? And some PT boats and landing craft aren't massive losses. In fact, Ukraine's Navy has actually lost command vessels and even their flagship.
You keep ignoring the fact that the entire Russian black sea fleet has been forced into port while trying to claim they haven't suffered any massive losses. I've already pointed out the massive losses they've sustained. You can sit here and claim it's not, But the Russian navy themselves disagree with you. It's only a matter of time before Ukraine starts sinking russian ships in port as well. Hell, they already have. The Russian black sea fleet is obsolete.

You're just writing fan-fic at this point. Nobody is being forced to do anything. Taking measures to prevent losses isn't the same as what you're dreaming up there.

Iran will do nothing directly. They may fund more terrorist cells to attack U.S positions, but they themselves will do nothing.
Irrelevant. All it would take is one "credible" Pentagon official being paid to say "Iran has WMDs" and the U.S. Army would be deployed for an invasion.

And if the aggregate poll numbers are any indication, Joe Biden's administration has every reason to claim Iran needs to be invaded for "democracy and freedom" or whatever.

If it happens, that'll be one of the main reasons it happens for sure.

Not sure who's point you are making, the development of asymmetric counters is actually quite harmful to US power projection, warships are slow, even Houthis are holding off carriers now.

I don't think you understand what you are cheering on.
Houthis aren't holding back carriers, so far they've failed to secure a single hit on any U.S ship they've launched against.

They certainly are, and they are 3rd rate powers, now imagine Russia or China, or simply imagine as those weapons continue to develop and trickle down to the Houthis or such in a few years.

You can't carry enough interceptors to protect the lumbering fleet, and this will only grow more true over time, its just over, and for the state which most relies on power projection, this is a deadly development, accelerated by Bidens hubris.

Your refusal to accept reality doesn't make it "fan-fic". You're blatently ignoring key points while just typing to typing. "Taking measures" = They got pushed back by how heavy their losses already were and now they're not even safe in port.
Face is, Like I said the russian black sea fleet is obsolete.

And what is you're proof they are? Our carrier is still in the region. Our ships are still positioned exactly where they've been lol.

You're just typing nonsense with no proof, so let's see the proof then.

Who, exactly, is it that wants "war," here?
You tell me. Who's authorizing the escalation of U.S. military operations against Iranian-supported forces?..

The President of the United States is authorizing attacks against Iranian backed forces in Yemen, Iraq, and Syria.

Why?

Because the Houthi attacks against shipping in the region and the attacks against US forces in the region must stop. Offensive actions have been taken by US forces as reprisal against Iranian-backed groups in the region for the deaths and widespread injury of US service-members.

And, that was only after hundreds of such attacks that did not kill any US service-persons.

If the Houthis stopped launching munitions at random shipping in and attempt to draw attention to themselves and kick off a general war and if Iranian backed forces stopped attacking US forces, then those people wouldn't get their crap blow'd the heck up.

Were you equally as conspiracy-ridden when Trump authorized strikes in Syria? Or, was that different, because it was... Trump?

I bet he did that in an attempt to distract the public from his criminal activity, maybe even to keep law enforcement from taking Jeffry Epstein, his massage dealer! Do you think that's true? Sounds plausible... Let's just not bother with trying to provide evidence for it an accept it as true!

I think that's all that is publicly known right now. I don't suppose they would just publish all performance data for everyone to see so they could come up with a way to intercept it.

Oh how convenient you have nothing to prove your wild claims.

Invalidated.

I'll have a go :

The UK has a great big death star in the sky that nobody else can detect.
It can travel 10 times the speed of sound I am not going to say the mach number because I am a bit thick.

there have been attacks on warlords in africa that resemble godrods and/or iron curtain impacts, and the uk is the only one who made any investments in these technologies.

China has made the biggest investment into Africa over the past 10 years. Africa will probably be the stage for the second cold war. China is trying to control the continent.

Spencer evaporating the moment he's challenged to provide evidence lmao.

They care about draining other's countries resources, like in the middle east, they are focused on draining oil, in Kosovo they want to drain the mine resources etc... Once they are done, they will leave these "friends" of theirs to be doomed, like Vietnam and Afghanistan.
A whole lot of assumptions coming from someone who probably lives in a country that's done worse.
Bruh, how ironic, referring to truth as assumptions and then proceeding to ASSUME I am from country that did worse. LMAO, even if my country went on full killing spree, it would never manage to cause so many deaths like US did lol. Also, In case you think I am from Russia, you dead wrong.

The Houthis have been active in the region since January 2016.

So the question is, "Why now?"

Why is the U.S. suddenly conducting a hundred air strikes against "Iranian-linked forces" in the region when it's been an issue for 8 years now?

Because only now do they have drones and missiles to attack ships with. Before they just boarded tankers and took them hostage. To make money. Now they want to prevent shipping through that area.
Mr. Obama knows how to take care of those middle easterners...

As I said, they've been doing that for years now.

Granted, they hadn't killed three Americans until recently, but the Taliban killed 13 Americans in Afghanistan and that didn't warrant a hundred airstrikes against Taliban-linked forces.

Which ships have they attacked prior 2023 ?
