I hate your " modern times ".
I hate your " modern times ".
Sorry to say it like this but I gotta get if off my chest.

I hate you modern times. I hate your youth, who can't dress properly and has terrible hair cuts, a terrible taste for music and is mostly a bunch of sheep, followers, obeyers.

I don't like all the introverted " I look on my phone culture ".

I don't like all the entitled spoiled little brats.

I don't like all the snowflakes who ruined comedy and humourism with their cancel culture.

Basically, to round this up, I don't like any of the sh... you new generations have glorified or pushed throughout the last years. If I could, I would just travel back into the 90s or early 2000s and stay there, lol. Basically everything was better back then.

You are not gonna change my mind, sorry.

Yes, but not in this invasive and hostile extend. During the 90s and 2000s we had gays fully integrated into our society and no one really started making a fuzz about any of it, nowadays they try to change your children's gender in school, LOL.

No thanks. You are clearly not older than 30 and have missed out on that part my dude. Sorry for you.
Except that same-sex marriage wasn't legalized in every state until 2015. You would be wrong about my age.

You fail to understand any of the points I have made completely lol.

You are here to make a LGBTQ discussion out of this topic, but this is not what it is about and I could not care less about it by the way.

Even more hilarious is that you automatically assume I am U.S American and talk about states. You know, there is a world outside of the U.S and I could not give less of a sh.. about the US as I am German, not American and I talk about my experience over here in Europe, not in the US.

So begone already, this thread is not about you or your twisted ideals or imaginations nor is it about your anti-family propaganda you have spread numerous times on this forum.

Begone.

Iirc didn't a study show that it was older generations who were more sensitive emotionally and acting out, than younger ones?

Since younger generations are isolated in their online world and can barely look into people's eyes, does this surprise you ? I would not call being emotionless or insensitive a good thing to be honest.

Also, you are on my block list. I guess that means something.

But lets face it, all the gender change, LGBTQ and stuff, is quite new, in fact its destructive and silly, glad I will be still alive to see this nonsense vanquish into nowhere as now I realize people are still a lot more normal and level headed than I thought.
Factually wrong, the concept of Transgenderism has existed and has been documented for over 5,000 years. And I'm sure homosexuality dates much further back than that.

It's just new to Western culture on the concept of laws and open representation.

There was no tiktok back then so it couldn't possibly be the best.

To be honest, we had numerous other websites which were a lot more shady, naughty and a lot less restrictive, which were by far better than TikTok.
Did you used to share naughty videos disguised as music on limewire mister?

The weak nuclear family concept, the same one that was tried to argue against LGBT rights to marriage, adoption, protections, etc. Remember that strawman?

Nope, never. Never bothered about forums or anything in that regard back then. I was a gamer, thats it. Still remember playing the first Wolfenstein, first CoD, first CS, first Half Life and so on.. Good times !!! No cancel culture, no snowflakes, just gamers who loved games.

You can't even imagine what I am talking about.

Glad you saw my way of looking at it a bit and I say let people be people... As long as they don't flaunt it in front of others more than is reasonable .

I have both sides to me, I like to help people and can be conservative.
Or as I say if not help people... At least represent my view.

If you don't like a bloody coffee/tea shop, cafe or bookstore than go to a different one.

I agree maybe things are getting harder and it's a little unreasonable.
Thankfully now we have the internet to work around at least some of those problems.

The old times were laden with trauma inflicted by wars and I think that needs to change.

Other than that; create communities and connect with like-minded people.
God forbid that anyone should do that... Which I think is what is missing.

Not the same as during the 90s and non of us was traumatized due to wars, lol. I live in Europe, maybe this is an American phenomena ?

Loved it back then and its not gonna be the same for now. Isolating myself in some bubble somewhere is not the same nor the solution. But thanks for trying, lol.

Hitting you with facts, is hardly trolling. However, it does prove you're incapable of opinions that don't fall in line with your own. C'est la vie.

Snowflakes complaining about snowflakes, folks.

If you are actually in your early 30s like you've claimed, you didn't experience the 90s like you're leading on.

Being numb, unempathetic or socially awkward to the point of disengagement is not something to aspire to either.
Given the older generation is literally trying to foist the blame on the younger for a myriad of things (Are Millennials killing the xxx industry!?) whilst also blaming them for the economy being the way it is. Can you really blame the younger generation's disengagement?

Have you worked retail lately?

What I'm suggesting is that the trauma, caused by wars and all, sticks around.

You'd be wrong, most people in the early 90s were affected by left over trauma from war.

I do hear that and can resonate. Just suggesting the 80s and before were not it.
At least people in the 90s did start to get over some of those hurts, and all that. Generally speaking, society had moved past that but there still was some trauma left over, IMHO.

Well good luck on bringing the 90s back!
"May the Gods watch over your battles, friend
Generational trauma is a thing, and people are still impacted by it to this day. The Silent Generation didn't have coping mechanisms post WW2, and took it out on their kids, who took it out on further generations.

I say this as an older Millennial well into my 30's, who sees this cycle in my own family.
