Sad movies or series
I will stop spamming new topics so don't frown at the screen like I do when I see the same person opening new threads multiple times a day.

Sad films or a series, post ones that you liked to share.

Two that came to mind first was M.A.S.H..

It's about a medical camp / hospital in the Korean war but it could be WW2 or Viet Nam the humour is good set with the backdrop of a most depressing places I can imagine surgeon's tables during a war.
It does not matter where abouts you pick the series up from you can get a handle on it pretty quickly initially for the modern audiences it might be a bit too different to the usual crap we are spoon fed but give it a chance and it's a good show.

It is not that it is sad as such but the setting of it and it does have its moments.

Second one was Schindler's List

Set in black and white with exception to one red coat.
tells the true story of an industrialist setting up factories for the Third Reich using Jewish workers and saving them from the gas chambers.

the film does nothing to restore any faith in humanity but it does show there are people out there who will try to help it.

Game of thrones. In a show where everyone gets killed, they really topped it off by horrifically butchering the show in it's final season.
Pretty much all of them.

The book was sad but in retrospect it also kind of pissed me off. That's clear programming. They can fnck off with that.
Angela's ashes
Song for a raggy boy
Anything made by current disney.
