Probably the world is several layers of densification created by the Demiurge. The latest transhumanism thing is them retuning the world to prepare to descend down into a deeper layer of densification and obfuscation (inverted pentgram, driving spirit down into matter). With the creation of a digital twin system, nanotech, wiress stuff, VR, AR, gene manipulation, whatever, they could keep people stuck in "The Matrix" and unaware of the higher planes / astral for much longer, if not indefinitely. Divine sparks are a "fountain of infinite mirrors" which are needed to pull energy from a basis outside the universe and put it into animating objects within it. That's what I suspect and every year it seems less like "wow wouldn't that be crazy" and more "yeah that seems pretty likely".

Someone told me about a sci-fi book they read based on this. Basically humans were pests in the agricultural area of this spaceship. They gathered them up and dumped them on the first suitable planet.

Well, maybe we could club you in the head a few times, then cut off a limb or two. Maybe lesion your brainstem and introduce some autonomic issues for a difficulty multiplier. See how free and open the world seems then, and really put your ability to put yourself back together and maintain, to the test. You can mind over matter it to whatever extent, yeah, but can YOU do it? I don't know.

The problem with people is they have no idea what they stand on for who they are. They think it comes from within, when most of it doesn't. That makes it mutable. Malleable.

If it is prison, that suggests punishment which for some religions coincides. Perhaps it is all a test, one that we continually fail, somehow thinking we are better than we really are, so full of ourselves, only to go back to primal urges & grunts.

Gotta have been a greatest sin, to make all future generations to suffer for it. To say, it would mean that sin actually runs in the genes/blood of species. But to exterminate, was rather a bliss than punishment. Feels more like a revenge or usage to cultivate the land, so they can acquire it as payment.

Or, this is actually a paradise. Who knows.
