Is brave the best browser?
Brave is the new Firefox. Once you get used to it, you can see the difference. Also, there are no advertisements.

Chrome is the new IE, a sucking slow browser.

Edge is a virus.

Firefox is like netscape, still good but disappearing because of the lack of money for it.

I prefer Opera because I like to hide ads that have somehow sprang up on the Speed Dial page in the same manner that I pick scabs off my face.

I dunno, i use edge. Firefox has crazy memory leaks and is sabotaged by bad contributors and bad project direction. And it takes forever to set all the advanced settings to sane values. no one notices or no one cares, or both. chrome is sluggish as hell. I haven't used brave in a long time so I forgot why i don't use it, probably lack of options. edge for me until ms inevitably ruins it.
how did they pick the name 4 brave is there a story

Brave has the best blocker ever, and you get payed if you want to turn on advertisements.

Edge leechs too much RAM and is a garbage of advertisements.

Funny icon though. And it reminds me of our Duck Tours submersibles.
I’m still rocking Netscape Navigator

Well, you are supposed to block ads with your firewall block lists :P I suppose I understand the RAM argument but i like how it doesn't lag when I bring up the window with 10+ tabs open. To each their own I guess :)

I've heard that story a LOT. Brave seems to have a history of doing stuff like this
Google Chrome is the best browser at this moment. Fast and safe!
Nah, Firefox is still good. And Brave is still Chrome in a different skin (as in it shares the same engine), so its not free from Googles influence.
Brave is just Chrome with mods. It uses Chromium (essentially debranded Google Chrome) and adds some default settings and script blocking with the intent of making it more secure. If you want something similar, but Firefox based, there's Librewolf.
