I personally only like a horror movie based upon True Events or taking with a tad of comedy. In this case, it's a horror comedy.
I'm watching the above slasher film, and not one of the teens looks any younger then 24 and possibly born in the last century
I don't care if the actors are older, so long as they're passible for the part.
But I don't think that's actually critiqued enough because it's a little on the taboo side of the wardrobe and makeup department to make that happen. Casting for the role could also be a factor because I mean why would you cast someone who looks like a matured young adult as a teenager? Maybe cast someone who does not look as matured.
It CAN be done, it just usually isn't done well. Usually.
I used to make jokes with my friends about casting extras for dead bodies in horror movies. How exactly does that ad look? "WANTED: One Dead Hot Chick." lol
