I understand firsthand how shame can be a good motivator to lose weight. And I say this as someone who is mostly incapable of feeling it to begin with. At least when other people attempt to shame me personally.

I was ashamed with myself, with my weakness and my corpulence. And thus I sought to remove that weakness. And now I'm down from 420 to 285. My end goal is 250. If a literally retarded schizophrenic like me can do it, anyone can. You have no excuses save the ones you invent.

Except people who are fat because of medical problems especially medication will do their best to get back in shape as soon as they can and those people should be encouraged.

Honestly i try to see that stuff through both sides of the lens, even if shame can be a motivator to lose weight the inverse effect can happen and it's not necessarily because you are a snowlfake but real ass abuse can really do you worse overall, thinking you might be worthless or that trying to change is impossible and all, body image is one hell of a drug and you can badtrip pretty bad.

This aside a phobia is a fear of which rather makes its use invalid in this case when we all know actual human contact does not make you so. You would have a field day in court if prosecution used it as its considered a mental health condition.
