where did you ever get the idea that the only chip dips were nacho cheese and salsa?

We've had all sorts of dips for decades. French onion dip (just mix french onion soup mix & sour cream), guacamole, spinach & artichoke, and so on.

(and this isn't just for corn chips. Potato chips, crackers, pretzel sticks, veggies . . . people have been dipping things at parties for years and years)

Yea... I've had the following, but Pico De Gallo is my favorite.

Salsa
Nacho Cheese
Queso
Queso with Spinach or Queso with Pico De Gallo mixed in.
Taco Seasoned Ground Beef
French Onion Dip
Ranch Dip

And probably some more, but those are the ones I like.

French onion is my go to dip. All others pale in comparison. Heluva good dip is really heluva good dip.
