State your identity or what you think identity means.

Identity is the qualities, beliefs, personality traits, appearance, and/or expressions that characterize a person or a group. Identity emerges during childhood as children start to comprehend their (self-concept) idea of the self constructed from the beliefs one holds about oneself and the responses of others.

What if the response of others is falsely negative or abusive, i.e. having constructed a concept of the self through responses of others to identify oneself as the receiver of negative responses of others?

These are the new ego definitions we are given. The identity, ego, and self concept terms have been altered to meet modern society. There is now more potential for exploitation.

There are movies about the life of an undercop. Final boss is a corrupted police team leader who deleted the person's identity. The person instantly lost all status and lived the life of a criminal / illegal immigrant.

Hence true identity is that record of our birth name and citizenship number. Everything else is self proclaimed.

Identity is a broad definition. People often act out an identity of how they want to be percieved by others and to be accepted and to get recognition from people/groups around them. Some people even become a far left antifa fascist to 'belong' and to haven an 'identity', those are the weak people in our society. Generally it's the low self esteem people that need an 'identity'.
