I fear death
Dying is the ultimate goal of life it is inevitable so why do anything in life? If we are all going to end up the same way what’s the point of experiencing this existence if we only have a short precious life on earth just to spend eternity in blackness? hopefully something else happens when you die heaven or hell reincarnation or viewing life as a spectator i will face death with acceptance and fear

Keep allowing these companies to under pay you while you work too many hours destroying your work/life balance, you will never have a life worth living.

We all MUST walk out of these jobs and demand fair pay. But then again, those countries would just allow more migrants in that will work for under minimum wage anyways thus destroying not only everyone's quality of life, but also the economy.

Close all country borders and you will see who is really the #1 country of the world.

Our UK migrants have expensive lawyers and they argue for the rights of these people. No chance they could be underpaid. Just us who live here - that's fine.

Rather than fearing the death itself, I do fear that I won't have the time or opportunity to do things I wanna do and live the way I wanna do.

But I can accept it if that's how things are meant to be.. Though, I'll be sad to miss on trying all of that stuff.

I don't fear death itself.
I fear dying as in the process of dying, how I am gonna die, how long its going to take and when its going to happen.

You don't have to. And I'm probably gonna get attacked and roasted from all sides for saying this but... if you have God on your side, nothing, I repeat, nothing should scare you in this world:

"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:37-39.

Have you placed your faith in Jesus' sacrifice for all your sins? If not, what are you waiting for? You will not regret it. There's no one who has ever regretted doing that. Once you do that, you don't have to ever live in fear of death or the after life ever again.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." - John 5:24.

Take care of yourself and enjoy your life!

Even if you have " god " on your side, this does not change the fact that dying itself isn't particularly a nice experience, especially not when its connected to some long ongoing disease that slowly makes you go down.

There is a reason why the medical field has literally its own sub-field just to take care of dying people with painkillers, psychologists and what not.

Dying is the ultimate goal of life

Death is just a natural part of life and not its ultimate goal.

Yes you'd have thought believing that stuff would at least earn you a get out pain in death clause...

I am not particularly a religious dude, maybe I would be religious when end gets near, no idea.

But I do believe that religion makes it psychologically easier, but the pain and stuff would probably still be all the same.

Indeed.

I prefer to see life in a more philosophical sense than 'living by some else rules'

Dude, you worship a being that wouldn't lift a finger to stop all the countless child cruelty cases we are always horrified to learn about in the news.

What kind of god stands there, and allows abused children, to slowly starve to death unwanted and unloved?

Either one that doesn't exist, or an absolute PIGF**KER of a god.

You are on OT and steam forums, you never really lived so you have no reason to fear death in the first place.

Don't worry, you'll probably get to do it again as long as the circus stays open for business.

Actually death and emptiness is normal.

We're that lifeform that is not normal, and we feared normal things.

The only way you can fear death is to die, then in death you be like “Wow! That was pretty scary!”, but you can’t cause you’re, y’know, dead.

So there’s no reason to fear it. It’s an inevitable fact of human (end of) existence. To be born is the beginning of death.

Have a good weekend! 😂

Suffering has existed since the beginning of times. It's the condition for living in a fallen world.

We have a lot to learn from Job. He was stripped of everything: his possessions, his family, even his own health. Job still did not renounce his faith. Why? Because he was convinced of God's goodness. As a result, God restored Job.

At the end of the day, we all have a choice. We either stand with the wisdom of the world, or we recognize the fact that this world is fallen and needs God.

Remember, this life here on Earth is temporary. Whether we die of natural causes or some other cause, death is still death. And this world as we see it today, will come to an end at some point. All that suffering here on this planet will not last forever. The entire Book of Revelation is yet to be fulfilled.
