Our UK migrants have expensive lawyers and they argue for the rights of these people. No chance they could be underpaid. Just us who live here - that's fine.
But I can accept it if that's how things are meant to be.. Though, I'll be sad to miss on trying all of that stuff.
I don't fear death itself.
I fear dying as in the process of dying, how I am gonna die, how long its going to take and when its going to happen.
Even if you have " god " on your side, this does not change the fact that dying itself isn't particularly a nice experience, especially not when its connected to some long ongoing disease that slowly makes you go down.
There is a reason why the medical field has literally its own sub-field just to take care of dying people with painkillers, psychologists and what not.
Well, you won't actually.
Death is just a natural part of life and not its ultimate goal.
Yes you'd have thought believing that stuff would at least earn you a get out pain in death clause...
I am not particularly a religious dude, maybe I would be religious when end gets near, no idea.
But I do believe that religion makes it psychologically easier, but the pain and stuff would probably still be all the same.
I prefer to see life in a more philosophical sense than 'living by some else rules'
What kind of god stands there, and allows abused children, to slowly starve to death unwanted and unloved?
Either one that doesn't exist, or an absolute PIGF**KER of a god.
We're that lifeform that is not normal, and we feared normal things.
So there’s no reason to fear it. It’s an inevitable fact of human (end of) existence. To be born is the beginning of death.
Have a good weekend! 😂
We have a lot to learn from Job. He was stripped of everything: his possessions, his family, even his own health. Job still did not renounce his faith. Why? Because he was convinced of God's goodness. As a result, God restored Job.
At the end of the day, we all have a choice. We either stand with the wisdom of the world, or we recognize the fact that this world is fallen and needs God.
Remember, this life here on Earth is temporary. Whether we die of natural causes or some other cause, death is still death. And this world as we see it today, will come to an end at some point. All that suffering here on this planet will not last forever. The entire Book of Revelation is yet to be fulfilled.
