Why Doesn't VALVe Do Anything about "Loli" Anime Content?
Search up Steam groups (and other stuff like that on Steam) with that word right now. Every group about that stuff looks pretty concerning, lightly put.

Rules and Guidelines For Steam: Discussions, Reviews, and User Generated Content:
Don't discuss or engage in unlawful or prohibited activity
Any posts or activities that violate Steam's legal agreements are not allowed.

Examples of prohibited conduct include:
[...]
Exploitation of minors
[...]

There are many Steam features that support custom image and content uploads for players. Examples include screenshots, player artwork, custom profiles, and workshop items.

When uploading images or workshop content, you should adhere to the following guidelines:
[...]
Content that exploits children in any way;
[...]

Many things, not even covertly, OPENLY hint at THAT stuff while being all very popular. How is this even remotely acceptable??? Groups with names like "[...] Appreciators" shouldn't have a place on Steam.

Period.

Whata sexistic nurse complex, dam it! (joke)

Well, she doesn't look like a 14yo girl to me.

Wait, 14yo girls can't be nurses anyway.

The United States also has a birth rate below replacement level, except they're allowing mass immigration.

Mass immigration will hurt a country in the long run.
Yeah, outs is ...I forget the number but isn't it like .87 something? so 1.12 retrees to workers....Japan has .25, meaning 4 retirees per worker last I checked. That's a very VERY large difference. What I'm saying, Japan has it MUCH worse.

At least Japan doesn't have mass immigration. It would be very bad for them to allow mass immigration in their country since it will have negative consequences.

Not at all.

I said anime. Tom and jerry and looney tunes is not anime. Anime is japanese. But since for the past 2 days you want to pick a fight with me this is done and won't give you a troll any more food.

Not only with you.

Well, that's an entirely different topic. Violence has always been part of art, whether its target audience is adults or teens. Heck, kids play with toy guns. Trying to equal both things simply doesn't work.
No it really isn't. We have laws against causing brutal harm to people on camera.

What does that have to do with art?

Actually in the US it refers to a specific style of animation that originated in Japan not just generic animation, so shows like Tom and Jerry are not anime. However in Japan they don't differentiate and they consider all animation as Anime

Anime is animation, but not all animation is anime, at least in the US.

i think being unable to tell the difference between a 9 year old and a 14 year old is the more serious undiscussed issue in these topics.

Okay...the thing you don't know is that anime was inspired by and based on the animation techniques of Walt Disney. Early animation was little different than american cartoons. thus the irony.

Dude the law is the same structure and format. The law also considers sadistic material to be illegal as well. You can't record someone being murdered, raped, beaten, or brought to bodily harm, and post it except for reporting(and even then sometimes not.) Same legal standard. By this legal standard Saw would also be a snuff film. I don't care what the content is. NOTHING is worse than the act of murder, periods hand no down no questions asked, but we let it be depiction fictitiously, for good reason. I don't know why you insist on digging in this point that somehow murder is more acceptable to show than rape but you shouldn't ignore the point of the knock-on effects on fiction as a whole and the control needed to prevent material which appeals to one of the big 4 sexually based mental illnesses.

Same applies to a sub-section of rape and abuse, we let it be shown in fiction. And I listed several knock-on effects such as: barring fictional races with differtent biological development than humans; any character under California legal age(it's the only place with 18) like the 16 year old professional soldier I mentioned; character designs who simply looking childish(see Lucky star) or as simple as characters whose ages are listed inaccurately to their biological development(see Yoko Litner), all of these being banned.

It's all fun and game until you have to stand before a judge defending the 2-b is not a child. Yes, multiple have in fact made that argument to me, because he age is sub-16(she's a robot, no ♥♥♥♥) and her body "looks like a child and has feature appearing to be childish." It's funny when it's some dude on Twitch being laughed at....it's less funny is the law lets a damn proescutor being the one saying these things in a trial for your life to functionally end.

Edit: Also jesus why did you have to remind me of big mouth. That trash is so disturbing. It shouldn't be illegal but it should never have been aired.
