I think it will fail because Microsoft kind of sucks nowadays, but they've had a pattern for a while of releasing one bad OS and then one good one:

Windows 2000 - Great
Windows ME - Very Bad
Windows XP - Great
Windows Vista - Bad
Windows 7 - Pretty Good
Windows 8 - Bad
Windows 10 - Good
Windows 11 - Bad

So Windows 12 COULD be good, but frankly I don't think it will be.
win11 is better then 10 so that throws that argument out the window :D
i no longer get the BSOD on startup i got on win10 win11 fixed that so that ALONE makes it better

No it isn't its already off to a bad start, if you consider minor UI changes to be an "improvement" then I don't know what to tell you.

I've seen nothing positive, just more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ updates you pray don't destroy your machine.

performance fixes
stability fixes
no more crashes
uses less ram
games play better
office apps run better

even considering it runs better on my fx8350 then 10 did and win11 doesnt even support fx8350

Imagine seeing THAT as a positive.

Basically you're like "Thank god win11 makes my computer actually functional, it's so great!".

Not getting a BSOD like that is a basic thing you should expect from any OS. (Within reason)
ah yeah i got several win10 updates that almost rekt my machine, luckily i was able to format drive and install fresh so far havent had any bad updates on 11

Let me correct your work here

Windows 2000 - Great
Windows ME - Very Bad
Windows XP - Great
Windows Vista - Decent
Windows 7 - Great
Windows 8 - Ok
Windows 10 - Bad
Windows 11 - Terrible

Windows 12? Probably bad...

The "home edition" of windows 10 is so awful it should be considered a crime to install it on any machine.

It's really a spit in the face of consumers, smaller companies and hardware manufacturers.

Everything i hear about windows 11 does not give me any more hope.
so just install linux if you have not already?

10 works for me after blocks for signaling

I honestly am heavily considering linux.

And agreed, but I shouldn't have to butcher my computers OS just so it works.
i have my win11 skinned to look like win7 so best of both worlds

windows is moving towards a subscription based service, like office 365
