Gain Access To Windowsapp Folder

Hello everyone, I have been browsing the internet everywhere on how to solve this problem and I cannot find a way to fix it. I bought the new Gears of War Ultimate Edition for PC the other day. Unfortunately I can only buy it through the Windows store. Now I changed the install location with some Registy Edits (because Microsoft doesn't think you'd want the game anywhere but your C Drive) and I got it installed. I'm trying to gain access to the folder it's installed in so I can add it to steam so I can get an fps counter on it, also because I like having all my games launched from one place. I followed this guide https://www.maketecheasier.com/access-windowsapps-folder-windows-10/ and it worked for the folder on my C drive, but as stated earlier I moved the install location. If anyone has any guidance on changing permissions please help me out.
