btw Shadow of Mordor and Mad Max need sequels soooo don't hate. :/
Yup I am not going to support anything after this scam, but Valve needs to have stricer policies regarding unscrupulous companies like WB/NRS
I am actually very amazed that after half a million copies of MKX was sold on steam they conveniently decided to turn it into abandonware and even made it public.
If you visit the MKX forums you will see people even posting email responses from WB stating that they are NOT going to respond to any emails about MKX as they have officially abandoned support for the game on PC.
So you telling me these people are allowed to rake up to $30 Million US dollars on Steam and then Abandon the game immediately without compensation but at the same time support the console version?
Something needs to be dome about these kind of scam happening. This was people's hard earned $30 Million Dollars. They cannot just steal this money just like that and not provide even some support.
Did you know WB focuses heavily on Console gaming? This just sounds like you had no idea what you were getting into.
You want to be mad at them? Be mad about the Arkham Knight debacle. Be mad that they are the largest reason behind the No One Live Forever games not getting a rerelease. Good reasons. Don't be mad that they stop developing Additional content you have to pay for on a platform you support. If there was money to be made on it, they would do it.
Exactly dunno what garbage that guy is talking about.
The consoles are getting rollback netcode to fix the online issues, the PC is not. Therefore PC players have been scammed combine that with the fact that kombat pack 2 isn't coming to PC shows their complete disrespect for consumers.
If Valve cared to implement and enforce some basic policies here about scamming we would not be having this discuccion.
People have clearly been scammed after they announced the netcode fix is only coming to consoles I dunno why this is so difficult for some people to understand.
PC users are stuck with a terribly broken game with many bugs that has been fixed on consoles especially when they made $35 million US in sales but refuse to spend any money to fix all the bugs on PC? something is clearly wrong here and one of the biggest con jobs has clearly been done.
A product (license) was sold, said product license is in full working order.
If you feel betrayed by the company, write them a letter expressing your disgust but I wouldn't expect much to come of it.
If you truly are dissatisfied, the smart move would be to not purchase any further products from the publishers nmor support them in any way. Unfortunately people generally seem to ignore this potential and instead ironically and quite illogically continue to pay companies they allegedly despise.
